Prey – your chosen quarry

Pick your prey and hunt it better than ever before. The new prey window gives you a bonus against a monster of your choice for two hours of hunting. How it works Open the prey window with the new "Prey" button in the bestiary (I) or in the hunt analyser (X). You have three prey slots – the first one right away, the second from level 20 and the third from level 50. Every slot shows a list of nine monsters close to your level. Choose one and you get a random bonus against it: Damage boost – you deal 7–40% more damage. Damage reduction – you take 12–40% less damage. Bonus experience – 13–40% more experience. Improved loot – a 13–40% better chance for every item. Two hours of hunting The bonus lasts 2 hours, and the time only runs while you are outside a protection zone – resting in town does not waste it. The stars (1–10) show how strong your bonus is. New lists and new bonuses Every slot gets a new list for free every 20 hours; if you want one sooner, it costs 50 gold per level. Not happy with your bonus? A new one costs 100 gold per level, renews the full 2 hours and never makes the same kind of bonus weaker. You can also type /prey in the chat. Also new: quick loot Press F4 and everything from the corpses around you goes straight into your backpack – no need to open every corpse. The key can be changed in the settings (F2), and party loot is counted in the party hunt analyser as usual. The prey window also has its own key: F3.
